Craft Shop
Once an abandoned tractor shed, this is where it all started for Ed and Lillian Taylor. They transformed the building
to look like a homestead cabin and sold their wares. At that time, BRV was known only as "Birch River Arts & Crafts". In 2010, "The Woodcutter Shop" has temporarily made a home here.
Western Red Cedar abounds! Solid campfire chairs, japanese bridges and tables made on site. Buy the precut 2x6 pieces and make your own creation. It is the best deal on cedar!
Harvest Moon Village Market
The latest addition to BRV, this 1500 square foot hall was originally built in 2006 for the wedding reception of Gord and Estee.
It is now a small town in its own right, with shop fronts and boardwalks. Shops include:
- Old-fashioned Candy Store (The Pop Shoppe)
- Retro Toy Store (All Aboard Manitoba)
- The Good Life Shop
(featuring clothes from Life Is Good®,
camping gadgets, and vintage style metal signs) - Fine Art and Sculpture Gallery (McMunn’s)
- Pottery and Hand-painted Items (Lilly’s Pad)
- Cedar Garden Furniture and Trellices
